Do I need to book an appointment at Royal Barbers?
No. Walk-ins are welcome 7 days a week at our Grove Hill Road shop. To guarantee a time with Sam or Star, call 07383 433643 or message us on WhatsApp.
Where is Royal Barbers in Tunbridge Wells?
We are at 4 Grove Hill Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1RZ, a short walk from the town centre and Tunbridge Wells station. Street parking is available nearby.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Wednesday 9am to 6pm, Thursday and Friday 9am to 7pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
Can I choose my barber?
Yes. Call ahead or send a WhatsApp and ask for Sam or Star by name. Walk-ins go to the next available barber.
Prices & payment
How much is a haircut?
A haircut and style is £19 and a skin fade is £22. A beard trim and shape up is £16, and packages are £32 to £34. Every service includes free traditional hair singeing. See the full price list.
Do you take card?
Yes. We accept cash and card.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes, on production of a valid student ID.
Is the cold drink really free?
Yes. Every client gets a free cold drink on arrival.

Do you do skin fades and beard trims?
Yes, every day. Skin fades are our signature. See skin fades and beard trims.
Do you cut afro and curly hair?
Yes. Our barbers cut every hair type, including afro and curly hair, with drop fades, tapers, shape ups and part lines.
Do you cut children’s hair?
Yes. Kids cuts for children aged 10 and under are £16, and we also offer a calmer patient cut. See kids haircuts.
What is hair singeing?
A traditional finish where the ends of the hair are sealed with a controlled flame. It is free with every service.
Do you sell hair products?
Yes. Wax, pomade, gel, beard oil, beard balm and gift sets. Buy in store or reserve on WhatsApp. See the shop.
