A beard trim and shape up at Royal Barbers is £16. Your barber takes the beard to the length you want, balances the shape to your face, then lines up the cheek line, jaw and neckline so it looks deliberate rather than overgrown.
Whether you are keeping a short boxed beard tidy, growing something fuller or just want sharp edges on your stubble, it is the quickest way to look put together. Walk in at 4 Grove Hill Road, Tunbridge Wells, or call ahead.
What a shape up includes
- A quick chat about the length and shape you are going for
- Clipper and scissor work to even out length and bulk
- Shaping to your face, keeping the jaw strong and the cheeks clean
- A crisp line up around the cheek line, moustache and neckline
- Free traditional singeing to finish, plus a cold drink while you wait
Beard plus cut
Most clients book the beard in with a cut so everything blends together. A skin fade with beard trim and shape up is £34 and a haircut with beard trim and shape up is £32, both cheaper than booking separately. The fade into the beard is where a good barber shows, and it is something we do every day. See our skin fades.
Keep it looking sharp
Lines grow out fastest, so a shape up every two to three weeks keeps a short beard clean. Between visits, a few drops of beard oil keep the hair soft and the skin underneath from itching. We stock beard oil and beard balm in the shop, and your barber will happily show you how much to use.
